Vera Trofimenko, MD, MAS

Vera Trofimenko, MD, MAS is a Board Certified urologist who is also Fellowship trained in Sexual Medicine.  Dr. Trofimenko’s practice welcomes both men and women who are seeking patient-oriented urologic care.

Dr. Trofimenko performs a spectrum of minimally invasive and endoscopic urologic procedures for stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), lower urinary tract symptoms, urinary incontinence, and cancers of the bladder and the prostate.  She performs a no-scalpel vasectomy in the office.

Dr. Trofimenko offers subspecialty care for men’s health conditions including low testosterone, infertility, erectile dysfunction and Peyronie’s disease. She is also one of the few urologists in the country who has fellowship training in genitourinary syndrome of menopause, female sexual dysfunction, pain with intercourse and low libido.

Dr. Trofimenko grew up in San Diego, California.  She speaks fluent Spanish and Russian.

Dr. Trofimenko is deeply committed to providing efficient and high-quality care, partnering with her patients to develop an individualized and evidence-based treatment plan tailored to fit each patient’s goals and priorities.
